Today’s itinerary is always special, the trip to Apalachicola, a unique city on the shore of the Apalachicola Bay, a small inlet of the Gulf of Mexico. The trip there is about the seafood, especially the oysters. After rushing to check into the RV site,

off we went to Lynn’s Oysters to enjoy the local cuisine…oysters, however you would like the specialty.

After enjoying a dozen oysters, it was off to St. George’s Island State Park across the bridge from Eastpoint, FL, and a view of the emblematic lighthouse.

The park offers many beach trails and nature walks
with opportunities for some bird watching and visit
with other park visitors, always from other areas
of the US.
