Journey: Day #4

Some travel days are just that, all about travel. We drove from Charleston, SC to Jacksonville, GA, a trip of 219 miles. The most interesting sight was the Spanish Moss, really a flowering plant that grows on large trees in a subtropical climate in this case. It is considered native in the Southern United States.

The best part of the day was getting a repair for our RV pump, a bolt for the table, and the cookout of burgers and tater tots.

I enjoy traveling but somedays of driving involve finding a few special highlights to note in my Travel Log and to store in my memories. While there are highlights in the South, these are more historical, novel, and sparse. Not that the interest in the Southern life is not significant, the views are fewer and less
