Florida is both long and narrow, and has a panhandle. Today we start to move west at long last on our 2023 journey. Starting this morning the view from the pier of the campsite in Apalachiacola was lovely, bright and engaging.
It is always a special day when the westward ho part of the journey begins.
As we traveled west. the time changed to Central Time Zone so gaining an hour of daylight at the day’s destination was a benefit. The arrival in Navarre, FL, at the Emerald Beach RV park is always pleasant with panoramic views of the water and city skyline. The temperatures are mild but while the day was not sunny, it was impressive with clouds crossing the skyline.
