Moving along on our trip, we chose to stay in authentic, albeit pretty rustic, campgrounds, complete with weathered old folks living in run-down single wides and everyone with a golf-cart type transportation to get around. The most authentic was in Gold Rock Park, California.
The entrance held many interesting features, including saddles deteriorating in the sun and rusted entry signs, welcoming us intrepid folk to their campground!
This campground featured a Rock golf course, equipped with a unique Hole 8.
The most impressive features of the campground are the sunset views and the beauty of the stark land and creative natural elements.
