Even though this traveling retiree has been on the road since 2011, and blogging since then, I have not advanced my skills or understanding of the process. So, I decided to sign up for the Beginner’s Blogging Course to see what I could learn to enhance my posts and personal satisfaction. After all, I am not getting any younger and this year has made us all stretch our concepts of who we are and what we can do.
The first major assignment was to identify my audience which has remained consistent over these years: fellow travelers of this amazing earth, retirees, sometimes RVers, sunset lovers, and others who are interested in discovering the details of life, mostly spent on the road, or previously, in the air.
Goal #1: Detail travel experiences with details and points of interest not always included in my written travel journal.
Goal #2: Write daily and in a timely manner, relevant to my current trip, with details of interest to the reader.
Goal #3: Engage readers by encouraging comments, include pictures, and attac related articles.
